基于场景的红外焦平面非均匀性校正系统研究

【摘要】:近年来,红外焦平面阵列作为红外热成像的核心技术得到了长足地发展,其以灵敏度高、可靠性强的特性在航空、工业、农业、医学和科学研究等领域广泛应用。然而,由于制造工艺的限制,使得其焦平面的光敏元输出响应不同,导致图像存在着大量非均匀性噪声,这大大制约了红外热成像系统的应用与研究。所以对非均匀性校正技术的研究刻不容缓。本文对非均匀校正技术深入研究,实现了一种基于FPGA平台的非均匀校正系统。本文首先就非均匀性的产生原因作了简单的阐述,并介绍了几种常用的非均匀性校正方法。然后结合配准算法并遵行利于FPGA实现的原则,提出了一种基于模板匹配的非均匀性校正算法。该算法选取图像中的某一区域作为基准模块,利用菱形搜索模式,得到帧间图像的偏移信息,并利用最陡下降法求得校正的增益和偏置系数。由于配准类算法产生鬼影的原因大都是匹配不准的问题,因此在算法中引入了鬼影消除的机制。经过实验仿真及FPGA硬件实时校正,基于模板匹配的非均匀性校正算法实现了帧间图像的实时快速匹配,并在收敛速度和校正效果上都有显著地成效,且有效地抑制了鬼影的产生。
[Abstract]:In recent years, infrared focal plane array (IRFPA), as the core technology of infrared thermal imaging, has been widely used in aviation, industry, agriculture, medicine and scientific research due to its high sensitivity and reliability. However, due to the limitation of manufacturing process, the output response of Guang Min element in the focal plane is different, which leads to a large number of non-uniform noise in the image, which greatly restricts the application and research of infrared thermal imaging system. Therefore, the study of non-uniformity correction technology is urgent. In this paper, a non-uniformity correction system based on FPGA platform is realized by deeply studying the non-uniformity correction technology. In this paper, the causes of nonuniformity are briefly described, and several commonly used nonuniformity correction methods are introduced. Then a template matching based nonuniformity correction algorithm is proposed based on the registration algorithm and the principle of FPGA implementation. The algorithm selects a certain region of the image as the reference module, uses the rhombus search mode to obtain the offset information of the inter-frame image, and uses the steepest descent method to obtain the corrected gain and offset coefficient. Due to the problem of mismatch, the mechanism of ghost elimination is introduced in the registration algorithm. After experimental simulation and FPGA hardware real-time correction, the non-uniformity correction algorithm based on template matching is used to realize real-time and fast image matching between frames, and the convergence speed and correction effect are remarkable. And effectively inhibited the generation of ghosts.
