1080nm高功率掺镱双包层光纤激光器

【摘要】:本文主要介绍了Yb3+离子掺杂双包层光纤激光器。利用Matlab软件对稳态下速率方程进行了分析模拟。自行优化设计了石英端帽,通过CO2光纤熔接机与光纤进行连接。实验结果表明系统熔接端帽后明显的改善了光纤的损伤阈值,有效的保护了光纤端面。搭建工作中心波长等于1080nm的镱掺杂的双包层光纤激光器,运用半导体激光二极管当作为泵浦源,谐振腔则由两个光纤布拉格光栅构成。其他实验装置还包括镱掺杂双包层光纤、合束器、包层泵浦剥除器、水冷等器件。当前已取得最大激光输出功率等于123W,斜率效率等于62%,激光工作的中心波长为1080nm。
[Abstract]:This paper mainly introduces Yb3 ion doped double clad fiber laser. The rate equation under steady state is analyzed and simulated by Matlab software. The quartz end cap was designed by ourselves and connected with the fiber by CO2 fiber welding machine. The experimental results show that the damage threshold of the fiber is obviously improved after the end cap is fused, and the fiber end face is effectively protected. A ytterbium-doped double-clad fiber laser with a working center wavelength equal to 1080nm is constructed. The diode is used as the pump source and the resonator is composed of two fiber Bragg gratings. Other experimental devices include ytterbium-doped double-clad fiber, beam combiner, cladding pump stripping device, water cooling device and so on. At present, the maximum laser output power is equal to 123 W, the slope efficiency is equal to 62 and the central wavelength of the laser is 1080 nm.
