2μm波段掺铥多波长光纤激光器

【摘要】:2μm波段光纤激光器在激光医疗、自由空间光通讯、中红外泵浦等领域具有广泛的应用前景。其通常是由激光泵浦掺铥或掺钬光纤得到2μm波段增益谱,通过滤波器产生多波长激光输出。本文使用掺铥光纤作为增益介质,设计分析了几种不同结构的多波长掺铥光纤激光器,分别实现了2μm波段多波长激光输出与多波长锁模激光输出,主要研究内容概括为以下几点:1.研究了掺铥光纤的增益谱特性。通过使用1565nm半导体激光器泵浦掺铥光纤得到增益范围1750-2200nm的增益谱。分析了不同泵浦功率、不同光纤长度对增益谱输出特性的影响。2.设计了两种以多模干涉滤波结构为基础的2μm波段多波长光纤激光器。采用Sagnac环和多模干涉滤波器复合得到了双波长间隔3nm-80nm可调谐输出,在不同泵浦功率和偏振态下可得到1-4个波长的激光输出。通过将多模干涉滤波结构与梳状滤波器复合,得到了双波长间隔调谐范围26.7nm的激光输出,激光线宽7.5MHz。3.设计了基于非线性偏振旋转效应的2μm波段多波长光纤激光器,得到了1-5个波长的稳定激光输出。通过对腔内增加双折射光纤,增强腔内双折射效应,得到127nm的单波长可调谐输出,在不同偏振态下也可实现1-5个波长的激光输出。4.设计了2μm波段多波长锁模光纤激光器。实现了双波长锁模脉冲输出,脉宽72ps,重频12MHz。通过对腔内非线性效应的优化,得到调谐范围87nm的双波长锁模输出,脉宽75ps,重频3MHz。
[Abstract]:The 2 渭 m band fiber laser has a wide application prospect in the fields of laser medical treatment, free space optical communication, mid-infrared pumping and so on. The gain spectrum of 2 渭 m band is usually obtained by laser pumped thulium doped or holmium doped fiber, and the multi-wavelength laser output is generated by the filter. In this paper, using thulium doped fiber as gain medium, several kinds of multi wavelength thulium doped fiber lasers with different structures are designed and analyzed. The output of 2 渭 m wavelength multi wavelength laser and multi wavelength mode-locked laser are realized, respectively. The main research contents are summarized as follows: 1. The gain spectrum characteristics of thulium doped fiber are studied. The gain spectrum of 1750-2200nm in gain range is obtained by pumping thulium doped fiber with 1565nm semiconductor laser. The effect of different pump power and fiber length on the output characteristics of gain spectrum is analyzed. Two kinds of 2 渭 m wavelength multiwavelength fiber lasers based on multimode interference filter structure are designed. The dual-wavelength interval 3nm-80nm tunable output is obtained by using Sagnac loop and multi-mode interference filter. The laser output of 1-4 wavelengths can be obtained under different pump power and polarization state. By combining the multimode interference filter structure with the comb filter, the laser output of 26.7nm with dual wavelength interval tuning range is obtained. The laser linewidth is 7.5 MHz 路3. A 2 渭 m wavelength multiwavelength fiber laser based on nonlinear polarization rotation effect is designed, and a stable output of 1-5 wavelengths is obtained. The single wavelength tunable output of 127nm can be obtained by adding birefringent fiber to the cavity and the birefringence effect can be enhanced. The laser output of 1-5 wavelengths can also be realized in different polarization states. A 2 渭 m multiwavelength mode-locked fiber laser is designed. Double wavelength mode-locked pulse output is realized, pulse width is 72 pss, repetition rate is 12 MHz. By optimizing the intracavity nonlinear effect, the tunable range of 87nm is obtained with a dual wavelength mode-locked output, a pulse width of 75 pss and a repetition frequency of 3 MHz.
