双角锥环形腔Ho:YAG激光器的研究

【摘要】:2μm激光在医疗手术、光电对抗、激光雷达等领域具有广泛的应用,其中,由2μm激光器作为光源的激光雷达是现阶段研究热点。2μm激光器作为激光雷达的光源,它的输出功率稳定性直接关系到激光雷达整体系统的性能优劣。为了获得激光输出稳定性更好的2μm激光器,本论文设计了双角锥环形腔Ho:YAG激光器,并从基础理论、腔型仿真和具体实验对其进行详细研究。理论上介绍了Ho:YAG激光晶体的物理特性和光谱特性;分析和计算了Ho:YAG的热透镜效应和热透镜焦距;建立了Ho:YAG激光器速率方程;介绍了双角锥环形腔Ho:YAG激光器的核心光学元件——角锥,通过模拟仿真分析它优异的抗失谐特性,又从角锥的退偏特性入手,设计出偏振输出的双角锥环形腔腔型,对不同透镜补偿晶体热效应的腔型结构进行分析对比。再由理论基础出发,对不同腔长的双角锥环形腔Ho:YAG激光器进行连续输出实验,再用凸透镜补偿热效应后的腔型条件下进行连续输出实验,分析了补偿后的激光器在输出功率、斜效率、阈值、抗失调性等性能方面上的提升。最终在采用凸透镜补偿晶体热效应的腔型条件下,当泵浦功率为31.6W时,双角锥环形腔Ho:YAG激光器最大激光输出8.3W,斜效率为30.8%,输出波长为2090.8nm。再由此腔型连续出光条件下为基础,进一步进行双角锥环形腔电光调Q输出实验,最终在重频设置为6kHz、泵浦功率为29.81W时,得到脉宽258ns、单脉冲能量1.142mJ、峰值功率4426.4W、波长2090.8nm的脉冲激光输出。
[Abstract]:2渭 m laser has been widely used in the fields of medical operation, photoelectric countermeasure, laser radar and so on. Among them, the laser radar with 2渭 m laser as the light source is the research hotspot at the present stage. The 2渭 m laser is used as the light source of the laser radar, and so on. Its output power stability is directly related to the performance of the overall lidar system. In order to obtain a 2 渭 m laser with better output stability, a double angle cone ring cavity Ho:YAG laser is designed and studied in detail from the basic theory, cavity simulation and concrete experiments. The physical and spectral properties of Ho:YAG laser crystal are introduced, the thermal lens effect and focal length of thermal lens of Ho:YAG are analyzed and calculated, and the rate equation of Ho:YAG laser is established. The core optical element of double-cone ring-cavity Ho:YAG laser-corner cone is introduced in this paper. Its excellent anti-detuning characteristic is analyzed by simulation and simulation. Based on the de-polarization characteristic of corner cone, the ring cavity configuration with polarization output is designed. The cavity structure of different lens compensation crystals with thermal effect is analyzed and compared. Based on the theory, the continuous output experiments of double-angle cone ring-cavity Ho:YAG laser with different cavity length are carried out, and then the continuous output experiment is carried out under the condition of compensating the thermal effect by convex lens. The enhancement of output power, slope efficiency, threshold value and anti-distortion performance of the compensated laser is analyzed. Finally, when the pump power is 31.6W, the maximum laser output is 8.3W, the slope efficiency is 30.8% and the output wavelength is 2090.8nm when the thermal effect of the crystal is compensated by convex lens. On the basis of the continuous output of the cavity, the experiment of double cone ring cavity Q-switched Q-switching is carried out. Finally, when the repetition frequency is set to 6kHz and the pump power is 29.81W, the pulse width is 258ns, the single pulse energy is 1.142mJ, the pulse width is 258ns, the single pulse energy is 1.142mJ, and the pulse width is 258ns.
