南海陆坡区约束流核型内孤立波观测研究
[Abstract]:Based on the observation of solitary waves in the continental slope of the South China Sea, the basic characteristics of the internal solitary waves are studied in this paper. The results show that the amplitude is 45 m, the maximum horizontal velocity is 1.6 m s -1, and the maximum vertical velocity is 0.39 m s -1. The velocity of propagation is 1.46ms-1. The velocity and temperature characteristics of internal solitary wave are compared and analyzed. The results show that the maximum horizontal velocity of water quality caused by the internal solitary wave is greater than its propagation velocity, that is, umaxc, forms a confined flow core. The water density at the core of the inner solitary wave is almost the same, the N _ 2 is close to 0, and the Richardson number Ri0.25, is shearing instability. Based on the amplitude of the internal solitary wave and the temperature and salt profile of the background field, the fluctuation of the temperature and salt field caused by the internal solitary wave is inversed, and its kinetic energy and potential energy are estimated.
