几种含碳助剂碳化硼陶瓷常压烧结的研究

【摘要】:碳化硼陶瓷是一种具有众多优异性能的新型陶瓷。碳化硼因具有高硬度、低密度、热稳定性好、耐磨,良好的中子吸收能力等性能被广泛应用于工程技术领域。然而由于其具有很强的共价键,使其在较低温度下实现致密化烧结变得极为困难。本文通过添加含碳烧结助剂在常压条件下烧结碳化硼陶瓷,通过研究发现:1.添加4%w.t葡萄糖助剂,在2200℃得到的碳化硼样品密度和硬度都高于纯碳化硼2250℃烧结的样品。葡萄糖助剂起到了降低烧结温度,提升产品性能的作用。在烧结过程中还出现了液相烧结。2.添加4%w.t活性炭助剂,在2200℃得到的碳化硼样品密度和硬度高于纯碳化硼2250℃烧结的样品。活性炭助剂起到了降低烧结温度,提升产品性能的作用。3.添加4%w.t石墨助剂,在2100℃虽有密度的提升,但硬度很低;在2200℃、2250℃温度下烧结所得样品的密度和硬度很低。石墨助剂未起到降低烧结温度和实现样品致密化的效果。
[Abstract]:Boron carbide ceramics is a new type of ceramics with many excellent properties. Boron carbide has high hardness, low density, good thermal stability and wear resistance. Good neutron absorption ability and other properties have been widely used in engineering technology. However, because of its strong covalent bond, It is very difficult to achieve densification sintering at low temperature.
