[Abstract]:The texture of the inner, middle and outer layers of TA18 titanium alloy aeronautical pipe prepared by cold rolling was measured and analyzed by X-ray diffraction technique. The contractile strain ratio, which is determined by texture and can reflect the anisotropy of the tube, was also tested. The results show that the texture strength of the pipe varies greatly along the depth of the layer, and the change of texture gradient is greater than 17 by the peak density of the crystal orientation distribution function (ODF), especially the type of texture of each layer is also very different. When using thinning and flattening method to evaluate the properties of the pipe, even if the texture strength grade is higher, the CSR will decrease. The reason is that the pipe has different texture distribution along the layer depth. The coexistence of favorable radial texture and unfavorable tangential texture will lead to the decrease of CSR value if the unfavorable texture fraction is too large. The distribution of texture along the layer depth provides a reference for further prediction and improvement of the mechanical properties of the pipe and provides a basis for improving the production process.
