水稻半矮秆基因OsFBK4的定位及功能分析

  稻米是全球大部分人的主粮之一。为满足全球范围内不断增长的人口的粮食需求,提升育种技术以提高稻米产量和质量显得极为迫切。半矮秆基因的研究对水稻株型改良和植物生长发育的分子生物学机理有重要意义,半矮杆突变体不但在阐明植物生长和发育的调控机制中起着至关重要的作用,而且因矮秆性状可影响抗倒伏和产量,也是作物改良中最重要的农艺性状。因此,通过选择产量高和优良株型是水稻育种过程中的关键因素。单一的半矮杆资源的广泛利用可能会导致水稻品种遗传背景单一化,所以鉴定有利用价值的半矮杆基因是水稻育种焦点。为在水稻育种中,利用新的半矮杆基因资源,并进一步丰富水稻株高的遗传和分子机制研究,从甲磺酸乙酯(EMS)诱变的籼稻品种中恢8015(ZH8015,WT)中鉴定出一个新的半矮杆突变体RE9586,成熟期其株高显著低于WT。扫描电镜观察结果表明,突变体RE9586最顶端节间细胞的纵向长度明显减少,这很有可能是引起其半矮化表型的主要原因。突变体RE9586重要农艺性状如穗长、有效分蘖数、单株产量及结实率显著低于WT。卡方检验表明其符合孟德尔3:1分离比,说明该突变体遗传位点受单隐性核基因控制。通过MutMap方法...
