[Abstract]:Soil extracellular enzymes play an important role in the biogeochemical cycle of ecosystem. However, the study on the main factors of soil extracellular enzyme activity is not deep enough, especially in alkaline calcareous soil areas. In this study, the forestland of typical karst mountain area (Muxuan National Nature Reserve) was used as the research object, and the topsoil (015 cm),) was collected under different topographic conditions (different slope position and slope direction) and different tree species (Cassia crassifolia and Umbrella). The activities of six hydrolases related to carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus cycling and the soil physicochemical properties were determined. The effects of topography, tree species and soil physical and chemical properties on soil enzyme activity were analyzed by variance decomposition, multi-response displacement process and redundancy analysis. The results showed that the slope position had a significant effect on soil enzyme activity. The effects of tree species and slope direction on soil enzyme activity were not significant. The results of variance decomposition showed that topography, tree species and physical and chemical properties of soil explained the variation of soil enzyme activity by 55.3%, among which soil factor was the main factor affecting the change of enzyme activity, which accounted for 44.2% of the variation. The results of redundancy analysis further indicated that the total nitrogen of pH, and inorganic nitrogen were the main indexes affecting the change of soil enzyme activity. The effects of small scale topography, tree species and soil physical and chemical properties on soil enzyme activity in karst area were studied for the first time. The results also show that the change of soil enzyme activity in karst mountain area can be characterized by soil physical and chemical properties.
