多路千兆以太网信号的筛选与存储转发交换

【摘要】:提出了基于FPGA(Field programmable gate array)的多路千兆以太网信号的筛选与存储转发交换技术,该技术可以线速处理20路千兆以太网数据,整个系统的配置与监控都是由嵌入式处理器(Nios)来完成;网络数据包的筛选主要由专门的硬件-网络搜索引擎(Network Search Engine)完成,复杂协议分析、高强度的计算均由FPGA完成,提出了定位FIFO技术,提高了存储转发速度,使得主处理器能够将更多的精力放在数据处理与协议分析上面,从而大大提高了系统的效率;最后给出了整个系统的测试方法和实验结果,结果证明系统完全可以实现20路以太网信号的筛选与存储转发交换。
[Abstract]:This paper presents the technology of multi-channel Gigabit Ethernet signal selection, storage and forwarding switching based on FPGA(Field programmable gate array). This technology can process 20 Gigabit Ethernet data at line speed. The configuration and monitoring of the whole system is accomplished by embedded processor Nios. The selection of network data packets is mainly accomplished by a special hardware-network search engine named Network Search engineer. The analysis of complex protocols and the calculation of high intensity are accomplished by FPGA. The technology of locating FIFO is put forward, and the speed of storage and forwarding is improved. The main processor can focus more energy on data processing and protocol analysis, which greatly improves the efficiency of the system. Finally, the testing method and experimental results of the whole system are given. The results show that the system can realize 20 channel Ethernet signal filtering, storage and forwarding switching.
