【摘要】：在Internet上使用搜索引擎、门户网站、目录结构查询信息时有许多局限性。最近尽管出现了一些类似传统DBMS查询语言的更高级查询语言 ,但它们对查询分布在不同站点上的数据却无能为力。本文介绍了一种根据用户需求进行查询并组合信息的平台及语言。该平台基于移动代理技术 ,在信息使用者和信息提供者之间起到中介作用。该语言基于XML查询语言 ,可以用来组合从多个站点上获取的信息
[Abstract]:The use of search engines, portals, and directory structures on the Internet has many limitations. Although more advanced query languages such as traditional DBMS query languages have emerged recently, there is little they can do to query data distributed on different sites. This paper introduces a platform and language for querying and combining information according to users' needs. Based on mobile agent technology, the platform plays an intermediary role between information users and information providers. The language is based on the XML query language and can be used to combine information obtained from multiple sites
