面向增强现实应用的头戴显示器

【摘要】:近年来,在虚拟现实技术基础上发展而来的增强现实技术已经成为计算机图形图像处理领域的一个研究热点,而随着移动计算技术的发展诞生了一门新兴的技术——移动增强现实,即基于移动终端的增强现实技术。目前,以智能手机为代表的移动终端也获得了迅速的发展,其具有的计算能力和图形处理能力能与桌面计算机相媲美,加之其独特的便携性等优势,基于移动终端的增强现实系统在不断发展。同时,由于移动终端自身硬件结构的局限性,在用户使用过程中的问题也逐渐凸显出来,一方面,诸如手机、平板电脑等移动终端产品的显示屏幕无法呈现增强现实应用中所需的沉浸感;另一方面,虽然手机、平板电脑等移动终端产品中配备了陀螺仪、加速度计、摄像头等传感设备,但是用户在使用的过程中需要手持,体验效果欠佳。此外,新型的交互技术,如头动跟踪技术要求传感器获取头部动作数据,这在手机、平板电脑等移动终端产品中无法实现。针对以上问题,本文设计了一款与智能手机相结合的面向增强现实应用的头戴显示器。该头戴显示器不仅能够实现增强现实应用所需的沉浸感,而且能够将增强现实应用所需采集的头部动作数据以及外界图像信息发送给上位机。本文的内容包括以下几个方面:1)对头戴显示器进行需求分析,在此基础上提出了系统整体设计方案,完成了系统软硬件平台的方案设计,并对硬件平台的核心器件进行了对比选型,对软件平台的功能和结构进行了介绍。2)在总体方案设计的基础上,完成了头戴显示器硬件平台的具体设计。主要包括采集模块、摄像头模块、蓝牙模块、OLED微控制电路模块、HDMI转VGA模块、电源模块等。3)基于以上硬件平台,设计了头戴显示器驱动程序,主要包括头部动作数据采集模块、图像采集模块和OLED显示模块程序。4)在系统软硬件平台的基础上设计了简单的增强现实程序,主要介绍了视觉跟踪匹配模块、图形渲染、虚拟信息呈现与交互模块软件设计。5)对面向增强现实应用的头戴显示器进行了功能验证和测试,测试结果表明本次设计达到了预期的设计目标。
[Abstract]:In recent years, the augmented reality technology developed on the basis of virtual reality technology has become a research hotspot in the field of computer graphics and image processing. With the development of mobile computing technology, a new technology, mobile augmented reality, is born, which is based on mobile terminal. At present, mobile terminals, represented by smart phones, have also gained rapid development. Their computing power and graphics processing ability are comparable to those of desktop computers, plus their unique advantages such as portability. The augmented reality system based on mobile terminal is developing continuously. At the same time, due to the limitations of the hardware structure of the mobile terminal itself, the problems in the process of using the mobile terminal have gradually become prominent. On the one hand, such as the mobile phone, On the other hand, mobile terminal products such as mobile phones and tablets are equipped with gyroscopes, accelerometers, cameras and other sensing devices. But the user needs handheld in the process of using, the experience effect is not good. In addition, new interactive technologies, such as head-tracking technology, require sensors to obtain head motion data, which cannot be achieved in mobile terminal products such as mobile phones and tablets. In view of the above problems, this paper designs a headset display for augmented reality application combined with smart phone. The head-mounted display can not only realize the immersion of the augmented reality application, but also send the head motion data and the external image information to the upper computer which need to be collected by the augmented reality application. The content of this paper includes the following aspects: 1) on the basis of analyzing the requirement of headwear display, the overall design scheme of the system is put forward, and the scheme design of the software and hardware platform of the system is completed. The core components of the hardware platform are compared and the function and structure of the software platform are introduced. On the basis of the overall scheme design, the hardware platform of head-mounted display is designed. Mainly including acquisition module, camera module, Bluetooth module OLED microcontrol circuit module, HDMI-to- module, power module, etc.) based on the above hardware platform, a head-mounted display driver is designed, which mainly includes head action data acquisition module. Image acquisition module and OLED display module program. 4) Design a simple augmented reality program based on the software and hardware platform of the system, mainly introduce the visual tracking matching module, graphics rendering, Virtual information presentation and interaction module software design. 5) the function verification and test of headset display for augmented reality application are carried out. The test results show that the design has reached the expected design goal.
