液晶相控阵波控技术研究与应用

【摘要】:光学相控阵雷达在波束捷变、多波束扫描、低相干性以及高精度等方面,相对传统雷达具有很大的优势,应用日益广泛。液晶光学相控阵雷达具有体积小、重量轻、驱动电压低等优点,具有良好的应用前景,已成为国内外研究的热点。而保证液晶光学相控阵精确、高效的控制波束偏转的核心部件——波束控制器是液晶光学相控阵雷达实现的关键。本文主要针对液晶光学相控阵雷达波束控制器的硬件设计与实现问题,开展了如下工作:1、基于闪耀光栅光学衍射模型,通过对液晶移相器的基本原理与微波相控阵雷达的波束控制理论的介绍,分析比较液晶移相器与微波相控阵波束控制原理的差异,研究了液晶光学相控阵的波束偏转原理,并分析各种因素对偏转性能的影响。2、通过对通过对波束偏转误差影响因素(电压量化、液晶边缘效应、液晶移相器电极制造误差)的分析,给出了波控扫描组件的关键性能指标;完成液晶移相器驱动芯片的选型和可提供256种可选电压的多级脉宽调制电压生成方案设计,该方案有效地减少波控数据量;利用巴特沃斯滤波器函数对液晶特性曲线进行拟合,并给出扫描组件波控数据生成方法;进而完成了液晶光学相控阵波控扫描组件总体方案的设计。3、完成了对液晶驱动芯片和主控FPGA芯片等核心器件的选型、主控FPGA芯片Verilog控制程序设计、数据传输界面的设计与实现、硬件电路的设计与实现、电路单级调试,通过测试液晶驱动芯片输出电压波形与存储空间中波控数据之间的对应关系,从而对设计的液晶光学相控阵波控器硬件电路方案进行实现和验证。4、完成液晶波控器与液晶移相器之间的联合调试,并总结调试经验;设计激光小角度(???3?)精确偏转实验,通过比对激光小角度偏转理论结果和实验结果,验证了平台的正确性;设计液晶特性曲线测试实验,利用现有平台对液晶移相器的特性曲线进行测试,通过对实验结果的分析,最终得到液晶移相器的特性曲线。
[Abstract]:Compared with traditional radar, optical phased array radar has many advantages in beam agility, multi-beam scanning, low coherence and high precision. Liquid crystal optical phased array radar has many advantages, such as small volume, light weight, low driving voltage and so on. The key to the realization of liquid crystal optical phased array radar is to ensure the precision and efficiency of the beam controller, which is the core component of the liquid crystal optical phased array. In this paper, aiming at the hardware design and implementation of liquid crystal optical phased array radar beam controller, the following work is carried out: 1, based on the optical diffraction model of blazed grating. Based on the introduction of the basic principle of liquid crystal phase shifter and the beam control theory of microwave phased array radar, the difference between liquid crystal phase shifter and microwave phased array beam control principle is analyzed and compared, and the beam deflection principle of liquid crystal optical phased array is studied. The influence of various factors on the deflection performance is analyzed. The influence factors of beam deflection error (voltage quantization, liquid crystal edge effect, electrode manufacturing error of liquid crystal phase shifter) are analyzed. The key performance indexes of the wave-controlled scanning module are given, the type selection of the liquid crystal phase shifter drive chip and the design of the multi-stage pulse width modulation voltage generation scheme which can provide 256 kinds of optional voltages are completed, which can effectively reduce the data amount of wave control. The characteristic curve of liquid crystal is fitted by using Butterworth filter function, and the method of generating wave control data of scanning module is given. Then, the overall scheme of the liquid crystal optical phased array wave-controlled scanning module is designed. The selection of the core devices such as the liquid crystal drive chip and the master FPGA chip, the design of the main control FPGA chip Verilog control program, and the design and implementation of the data transmission interface are completed. The design and realization of hardware circuit, the single stage debugging of the circuit, and the corresponding relationship between the output voltage waveform of the LCD driver chip and the wave control data in the storage space are tested. Thus, the hardware circuit scheme of liquid crystal optical phased array wave controller is implemented and verified. 4, the joint debugging between liquid crystal wave controller and liquid crystal phase shifter is completed, and the experience of debugging is summarized. Precision deflection experiment, by comparing the theoretical and experimental results of laser small angle deflection, verify the correctness of the platform, design the test experiment of liquid crystal characteristic curve, use the existing platform to test the characteristic curve of liquid crystal phase shifter, test the characteristic curve of liquid crystal phase shifter. Finally, the characteristic curve of liquid crystal phase shifter is obtained by analyzing the experimental results.
