DARPA成功验证ViSAR对被云层遮蔽地面运动目标实时清晰成像能力

【摘要】:正2017年9月28日DARPA官网报道,DARPA开发的视频合成孔径雷达(ViSAR)成功获取了被云层遮蔽的地面目标的实时、全运动视频图像。DARPA战略技术办公室项目经理Bruce Wallace表示,"ViSAR的这次飞行测试标志着该项目进入了一个新的里程碑,证明了即使飞机穿过云层或在云层之上仍然能够获得地面目标的不间断视频图像。当测试飞机上搭载的EO/IR传感器被云层遮蔽变成一片空白时,ViSAR仍能连续不断地跟踪地面目标"。
[Abstract]:On September 28, 2017, DARPA's official website reported that the video synthetic Aperture Radar (ViSAR) developed by DARPA had successfully captured real time ground targets obscured by clouds. "the ViSAR flight test marks a new milestone in the project," said Bruce Wallace, project manager of the All-Motion Video Image .DARPA Strategic Technical Office. It is proved that continuous video images of ground targets can be obtained even if the plane passes through the clouds or above the clouds. When the EO/IR sensor on the test plane is blanketed by clouds, it can still keep track of ground targets.
