基于LBAC解码过程的高效码流补充方法

【摘要】:针对数字音视频编解码技术标准(AVS2)中对数域二进制算术编解码(LBAC)技术的码流补充过程在参考软件中实现效率低下的问题,提出一种基于双字节和单字节联合补充码流的高效码流补充方法。首先,根据LBAC解码算法中的比特流输入需求在解码区间偏移量中预留一定的比特位作为缓冲区;然后,当缓冲区内的剩余码流不够下次解码时,根据可补充码流的位数向缓冲区内补充双字节或单字节的码流。实验结果表明,在全I帧(AI)、低延迟P帧(LDP)、随机访问(RA)等配置下的常用视频测试序列中,该方法均能够实现18%左右的LBAC解码性能提升。所提算法能够简化参考软件中的码流补充过程,为LBAC算法的进一步优化提供基础,并能有效降低AVS2技术标准的整体解码时间。
[Abstract]:Aiming at the problem of low efficiency in the reference software of the bitstream supplement process of binary arithmetic codec (LBAC) technology in digital audio / video coding and decoding standard (AVS2), In this paper, an efficient bitstream supplementation method based on double byte and single byte complementary bitstream is proposed. Firstly, according to the bitstream input requirement of LBAC decoding algorithm, a bit is reserved as buffer in the decoding interval offset. Then, when the remaining bit stream in the buffer is not enough for the next decoding, the double-byte or single-byte bit stream is added to the buffer according to the number of bits of the complementary bit stream. The experimental results show that the proposed method can improve the performance of LBAC decoding by about 18% in all I frame (AI), low delay P-frame (LDP), random access (RA) and other commonly used video test sequences. The proposed algorithm can simplify the code stream supplement process in reference software, provide the basis for further optimization of LBAC algorithm, and effectively reduce the overall decoding time of AVS2 technical standard.
