“语义机”:计算主义的“新方向”

【摘要】:经典计算主义在受到塞尔等人的否证而经历一段时间的低谷之后,经过一些人的不懈努力,最近又出现了所谓的新计算主义。其新的表现是:不再像经典计算主义那样只关注心智的形式或句法方面,而承认其遗漏了语义性这一心智的根本特性,进而在如实解析人类智能的基础上将建构像人类智能那样的语义机放在突出地位。强调要完成上述任务,必须深入具体地研究人类的心智及其运作原理,在弄清语义性的必要条件和机制,探讨具体的实现途径的基础上,建构相应的模型。新计算主义尽管从理论和工程技术上对计算主义发展中的种种问题做了创造性的探索,但仍不尽人意。当务之急是要更进一步师法自然,探讨人类语义机的内在奥秘。
[Abstract]:After experiencing a period of low ebb by Searle and others, after some people's unremitting efforts, the so-called neo-calculationism has appeared recently. Its new manifestation is that instead of focusing only on the formal or syntactic aspects of the mind, as classical computations do, it acknowledges that it omits the fundamental characteristic of the mind, semantics, On the basis of analyzing human intelligence truthfully, the construction of semantic machine such as human intelligence is put into a prominent position. It is emphasized that in order to accomplish the above tasks, we must deeply and concretely study the human mind and its operating principle, and construct the corresponding model on the basis of clarifying the necessary conditions and mechanisms of semantic nature and discussing the specific ways of realization. In spite of the creative exploration of various problems in the development of computational doctrine in theory and engineering technology, Neo-Computation is still unsatisfactory. The urgent task is to further study the nature and explore the intrinsic mystery of human semantic machine.
