回族族称起源新辨

【摘要】："回回"一词最早出现于北宋人沈括所著《梦溪笔谈》卷五中,此处"回回"存在多种理解和解释,即使当"回纥"、"回鹘"进行理解时,也跟伊斯兰无任何联系。历史上作为回族族称,其最初的词源必有伊斯兰的内涵,故"回回"一词最早应始于《辽史》。"回回"词源的音转说和反对音转说长期争论,二种源说各有侧重,实际相互并不直接矛盾。二源说反映出了回族这个特殊少数民族族称起源的特殊性以及(回纥)回鹘、"回回"不同名称的族体在长期复杂的历史变革中形成的渊源关系。
[Abstract]:The word "Hui Hui" first appeared in the fifth volume of "Mengxi Pen Tale" written by Shen Kuo of the Northern Song Dynasty. There are many kinds of understandings and explanations in "Hui Hui", even when the "Huihe" and "Uighur" are understood, there is no connection with Islam. As the Hui nationality in history, its original etymology must have the connotation of Islam, so the word "Hui Hui" should be originated from "Liao Shi" as early as possible. " The etymology and opposition of etymology have been debated for a long time. The two sources have their own emphases, but they are not in direct contradiction with each other. The second source theory reflects the particularity of the origin of the Hui nationality, a special minority nationality, and the origin relations formed in the long and complicated historical changes between the Huihe Uighur and the different names of the Hui Hui clan.
