中国实验诊断学杂志来稿中的统计学问题分析

【摘要】: 深入研究科研论文中的统计学问题,对把好论文质量关至为重要。以往这类研究多以期刊论文(已发表)作为调研对象,难以完全反映作者队伍在科研与写作中实际存在的诸多统计学问题。本文以对作者来稿(原稿)的调查分析为基础,从编辑角度探讨其中统计学错误的类型、原因以及解决问题的方法。 选用《中国实验诊断学》杂志2007年至2009年3年的来稿共3690篇作为调研对象,其中需用统计学处理的稿件2043篇。在需用统计学处理的稿件中,处理基本正确的897篇;有一个以上错误的1146篇。问题主要表现在以下两方面: 1.存在的问题具有相当的普遍性,有错误的稿件占需用统计学处理的稿件的56%; 2.在统计学方法的应用上,简单的错误居多。 本文从以下三个方面对论文中统计学问题产生的原因和解决问题的途径进行了探讨: 1.提高对医学论文统计学质量重要性的认识。论文的作者有牢牢树立统计学应贯穿医学研究与写作全过程的观念。论文的编审者应重视统计学在论文中应有的位置,改善审编队伍的统计学知识结构。论文的读者应在论文统计学质量中发挥遴选、评价、监督的作用。 2.加强统计学的教育与继续教育。在统计学的系统教育中,教师应紧密联系科研论文实际,尽量从问题的“原型”入手讲授统计学。医学期刊既要提高编辑自身的统计学素质,又要采用多种互动方式,发挥对论文作者、读者的统计学继续教育作用。 3.强化医学期刊对统计学方面的要求。不但要把明确、具体的统计学要求切实体现在期刊的稿约中,更要坚持贯彻在日常对文稿的处理过程中,要严格把关。 希望在论文的作者、编审者、读者共同努力下,使论文的统计学缺陷日益减少,大大提高论文的质量。
[Abstract]:It is very important to study the statistics in scientific research papers. In the past, most of these researches focused on journal papers (published), which could not fully reflect the many statistical problems existing in the research and writing of the authors. Based on the investigation and analysis of the author's manuscripts, this paper discusses the types, causes and solutions of statistical errors from an editorial point of view. A total of 3690 articles from 2007 to 2009 in the Journal of Chinese Experimental Diagnostics were selected as the objects of investigation, of which 2043 were required to be processed by statistics. Of the manuscripts that need to be processed with statistics, 897 are basically correct and 1146 have more than one error. The main problems are as follows: 1. The existing problems are quite common, with erroneous manuscripts accounting for 56 percent of the manuscripts that need to be processed by statistics; 2. In the application of statistical methods, simple errors are most common. This paper discusses the causes of statistical problems and the ways to solve them from the following three aspects: 1. To improve the understanding of the importance of statistical quality in medical papers. The authors of the paper have the idea that statistics should permeate the whole process of medical research and writing. Editors should pay attention to the position of statistics in the paper and improve the structure of statistical knowledge. The reader of the paper should play the role of selection, evaluation and supervision in the statistical quality of the paper. 2. Strengthen the education of statistics and continuing education. In the systematic education of statistics, teachers should closely relate to the reality of scientific research papers and try to teach statistics from the "prototype" of the problem as far as possible. Medical journals should not only improve the statistical quality of editors themselves, but also adopt a variety of interactive ways to play the role of continuing education in statistics for the author and reader of the paper. 3. Strengthen the statistical requirements of medical journals. It is necessary not only to embody the specific statistical requirements in the manuscripts of periodicals, but also to adhere to the daily processing of manuscripts and to strictly check them. It is hoped that with the joint efforts of the authors, editors and readers, the statistical defects of the papers will be reduced day by day and the quality of the papers will be greatly improved.
