[Abstract]:On October 15, 2015, Comrade Xi Jinping's speech at the Symposium on Literary and Art work was made public. The speech profoundly elaborated on the role and major mission of literature and art and its work. Creatively answered a series of fundamental and directional important questions concerning the prosperity and development of literature and art, made important arrangements for doing a good job in literature and art under the new historical conditions, and made important arrangements for the prosperity and development of socialist literature and art and the construction of socialist culture.
