中华书局辞书出版研究(1912-1949)

【摘要】:中华书局是民国时期第二大民营出版机构,在中国近现代出版史上占据着重要的地位。自1912年成立至1949年新中国建立的38年间,它不仅通过出版教科书、学术图书、古籍以及多种杂志为读者提供丰富的精神食粮,也出版了相当数量的辞书,在促进辞书现代化和推动近代文化教育方面功不可没。 笔者将中华书局的辞书出版置于民国时期的社会环境之中,通过对其辞书出版历史分期的划分、代表性辞书和辞书出版人的介绍以及辞书出版特色的分析,梳理了其辞书出版的历史,并在此基础上探讨了中华书局和商务印书馆在辞书出版方面的竞争情况,最后总结中华书局辞书出版对于近现代辞书编纂和文化教育的历史贡献。这不仅能丰富近现代出版史的研究,也能为当代辞书出版提供历史借鉴和有益启示。 论文一共分为八个部分: 第一部分,绪论。论述了选题缘起、研究价值,介绍了研究现状,阐明了本文的研究思路、方法和创新点。 第二部分,中华书局辞书出版的影响因素。主要从外部因素(文化和教育发展需要)及内部因素(辞书出版的人力、物力、财力)两方面进行考察。 第三部分,中华书局的辞书出版概况。通过对辞书出版历史的梳理,将中华书局的辞书出版分为初步发展(1912-1919)、繁荣兴盛(1919-1937)和艰难发展(1937-1949)三个时期,简介分期阶段的出版情况,并选择其中的代表性辞书进行介绍。 第四部分,中华书局的辞书出版人。通过对陆费逵和舒新城两位中华书局辞书出版的灵魂人物的研究,挖掘他们的辞书出版理念和辞书出版实践。 第五部分,中华书局的辞书出版特色。包括多样性、时代性、创新型、策略性和畅销性等五大特色。 第六部分,中华书局与商务印书馆的辞书竞争。将中华书局和商务印书馆进行对比分析,提炼两家辞书出版竞争的宏观和微观特征,分析其原因和结果,并总结竞争对于网罗辞书人才、促进辞书质量的提高和繁荣辞书市场所起到的作用。 第七部分,中华书局辞书出版的历史贡献。总结中华书局辞书出版对辞书编纂的贡献和对近现代文化教育的贡献。 第八部分,结语。通过上文内容的研究,提炼出对当今辞书出版和辞书市场竞争的有益启示。
[Abstract]:As the second largest private publishing institution in the Republic of China, Zhonghua Book Company occupies an important position in the modern publishing history of China. During the 38 years between the founding of 1912 and the founding of New China in 1949, it not only provided readers with a wealth of spiritual food through the publication of textbooks, academic books, ancient books and various magazines, but also published a considerable number of dictionaries. In promoting the modernization of dictionaries and the promotion of modern culture and education. The author puts the publication of the dictionaries of Zhonghua Book Company in the social environment of the Republic of China, through the division of the historical stages of the publication of the dictionaries, the introduction of the representative dictionaries and the publishers of the dictionaries, and the analysis of the characteristics of the publication of the dictionaries. This paper combs the history of the publication of his dictionaries, and on this basis probes into the competition between Zhonghua Book Company and Commercial Press in the publishing of dictionaries, and finally summarizes the historical contributions of the publication of dictionaries to the compilation of dictionaries and cultural education in modern times. This not only enriches the study of modern publishing history, but also provides historical reference and beneficial enlightenment for contemporary dictionaries publication. The paper is divided into eight parts: the first part, introduction. This paper discusses the origin and research value of the topic, introduces the present situation of the research, and clarifies the research ideas, methods and innovations of this paper. The second part, the influence factors of the publication of the dictionary of Zhonghua Book Company. Mainly from the external factors (cultural and educational development needs) and internal factors (human, material and financial resources of the publication of dictionaries) two aspects. The third part, the general situation of the publication of the dictionaries of Zhonghua Book Company. By combing the history of the publication of dictionaries, this paper divides the publication of the dictionaries into three periods: preliminary development (1912-1919), prosperity (1919-1937) and hard development (1937-1949). The fourth part, the publisher of the dictionaries of Zhonghua Book Company. Based on the study of Lu Feikwai and Shu Xincheng, the author explores their ideas and practice of publishing dictionaries. The fifth part, the publishing features of the Chinese Book Company's dictionaries. Including diversity, time, innovation, strategy and selling five major features. The sixth part, the competition of dictionaries between Zhonghua Bookstore and Commercial Press. This paper makes a comparative analysis between Zhonghua Book Company and Commercial Press, abstracts the macro and micro features of the competition between the two dictionaries, analyzes the reasons and results, and summarizes the competition for the talent of the dictionary. Promote the improvement of the quality of dictionaries and prosperity of the dictionary market play a role. The seventh part, the historical contribution of the publication of the dictionary of Zhonghua Bookstore. This paper summarizes the contribution of publishing dictionaries to the compilation of dictionaries and to modern culture and education. Part eight, conclusion. Through the research above, the author abstracts the beneficial enlightenment to the publication of dictionaries and the competition of dictionaries in the market.
