Their practical information of accommodation, traffic, eating and scenic spots etc. offers comprehensive guidance and assists, provides enormous convenience in traveling. Therefore, independent travel guide books have become the most important information resource to independent travelers. However, the mode of traditional publishing does not suit the functions and characteristics of independent travel guide book, and arouses many problems such as invalidation of information, waste of resource, lack of interaction, etc., so the capability of independent travel guide book cannot be achieved in appliance. At the right moment, network publishing appears as a remedy of the problems and defects in the publishing of independent travel guide books, it perfectly combines the form and content of independent travel guide books and network publishing together. In the meantime, the integration of the two also shows that independent travel guide book is the optimal application frontier.
