一个有效的铁路运输系统可以促进任何国家的社会和经济发展,因为它可以作为所有其他经济部门增长的催化剂。世界各地都有重大的铁路现代化,使其在刺激经济增长和发展方面发挥有效作用。但是尼日利亚的铁路发展在过去五十年中一直保持不变,并且缺乏满足大量人口的交通需求的能力。在英国殖民时期多年的卓越表现后,尼日利亚的铁路开始在独立后经历衰落。虽然第一条铁路建设于1898年在100多年前开始,多年来在铁路上投入了大量资金,但尼日利亚缺乏高效的铁路服务。尼日利亚铁路公司目前面临着许多问题和挑战。缺乏有效的铁路运输基础设施给道路运输工具施加了压力,导致公路基础设施和道路交通事故大量恶化。这项研究的重点是尼日利亚政府在改善公共铁路运输方面的作用。目前在尼日利亚铁路系统进行的研究更多地关注私人参与,需要进一步研究政府可以改善铁路运输服务的可能方式。本文旨在填补这一空白,因为目前关于解决铁路运输子行业目前面临的问题的解决方案只有一些建议,而迄今为止尚未对解释政府在这方面的作用进行研究。为了达到上述目标,本研究采用案例研究方法。研究问题解决了尼日利亚铁路的问题。定性和定量数据均来自一手和二手数据来源。通过与政府铁路...
