　　从1989年到2003年,利比里亚卷入了一场长达14年的血腥内战,在内战中,国家军队、非国家行为者在战斗行动中用儿童作为士兵。武装斗争中儿童的大量参与被认为是一种消极趋势,它严重损害了儿童的个人发展和利比里亚的国家安全。本研究旨在了解利比里亚内战（1989-2003）后儿童士兵在社会中的重新融入。本文还探讨了在利比里亚的儿童士兵问题及其对该国安全的影响,从而进一步研究利比里亚内战的原因、战争与童兵的关系、影响童兵的因素以及在防止童兵出现问题上利比里亚国内政策的弱点。基于现有研究发现,利比里亚内战是统治者几十年来对其公民的压迫导致的结构性暴力。研究还发现,利比里亚交战方使用童兵的做法,抹杀了儿童的童年,并对他们未来的进步和成年后的发展都产生了负面影响。由于内外部因素的共同作用,为儿童康复所实施的重返社会计划以微乎其微的成功告终。利比里亚的前儿童士兵过去受到的虐待和忽视的证据仍然存在,他们中的许多人在身体和心理上仍存在创伤,他们基本上没有受过教育,无法就业,因此更易受到永久贫困和世界其他地区为武装冲突重新征募的影响。本文结论认为,利比里亚的童兵问题,就像在世界其他地方一样,只有解决儿童所面...
