社会文化困境:加纳性别角色中的性别歧视和差异

  加纳的性别歧视是一场持续的妇女斗争,因为存在着根深蒂固的文化和传统习俗,阻碍妇女和女孩享受和参与诸如获得教育和保健等基本权利。这些缺陷在性别差距较大的农村地区尤为明显。研究人员试图研究现有数据发现,不仅是加纳对性别歧视的看法,还有其他因素——如教育、宗教、职业等——均显示并帮助解释了这一主题的动态。这项研究的主要目的是调查性别歧视的构成和加纳性别角色的社会文化差异,并分析性别歧视是否对加纳的性别角色和妇女参与决策有任何影响。本研究采用独立双样本t检验进行平均数相等性检验。结果显示,5个被测结构之间存在显著差异。这项研究的结论是,工作场所、家庭和治理中的性别角色之间确实存在差异,这在很大程度上是由性别歧视造成的。因此,建议政府、准国家机构和公民采取充分措施,减少国内的性别偏见问题。
