21世纪非裔美国族群阶级差异与共同命运

　　由民权运动占主导所带来的社会政治变化,使得非裔美国族群内的经济条件差异不断增大。人们也因而开始为非裔美国中产阶级和下层阶级间不断增大的隔阂而忧虑。这个隔阂体现在不同的方面,包括他们各自的经济条件,社会价值观,政治观点等等。而随着时间的推移,这个隔阂似乎不断加深,导致有些人甚至宣称非裔美国族群现在已分裂为两个不同的部分,一部分是不断壮大的中产阶级,另一部分是散布在南方农村地区,或更常见于大城市贫民窟里的下层阶级。因此,问题便随之出现了:今天的非裔美国族群真的已经分裂为两个部分了吗?为了回答这个问题,本文作者主要围绕当前社会经济形势下非裔美国族群的“矛盾”性,即一方面由于政治,经济,社会价值等的原因,非裔美国族群内部的却有基于阶级的愈加明显的分化;但另一方面,由于美国社会仍然存在的不同形式的针对非裔美国族群的歧视与不平等现象,该种群成员间,尤其是中产阶级与下层阶级民众间仍需多种合作与互动。更为重要的是,鉴于当前形势,这种交流与合作亟需不断扩展与加强。这篇论文的创新之处在于,为了从新的视角了解非裔美国族群,作者首先摒弃了白人中心论,将研究焦点转向非裔美国族群本身,以充分挖掘族群内部间的交流互动...
