论汉画像石西王母图像方位结构

【摘要】：观察汉画像石中西王母图像不应将观察者作为划分方位的参照物,而应将西王母图像所在的建筑物作为参照物。以此原则观察汉画像石中与东王公配对出现的西王母图像,便会发现如下特征:西王母图像位于所属建筑物或图像右侧,东王公图像位于所属建筑物或图像左侧。因西王母自身名称具有指明西方之特征,从中可以推断,上述汉画像石中的西王母图像模式为左东右西,上南下北。这与汉画像石方位结构互相吻合,但其水平方向与垂直方向皆与科学制图学方向截然相反。汉画像石西王母图像方位结构为一点四方式,位于中央者为划定东西南北四方之参照物,东西南北四个方向两两对立并具有明显象征意味。可以肯定,汉画像石西王母方位结构与现代制图学方位结构之间有着根本性差异,前者的结构与中国古代文化机制有着内在关联。
[Abstract]:Observing the image of the western king mother in the Han Dynasty stone should not regard the observer as the reference for the division of the position, but the building in which the image of the western king mother is located. On this basis, we should observe the image of the western king mother in the stone of the Han Dynasty matched with the Duke of Dongwang. The following features will be found: the image of the western queen is located on the right side of the building or image to which it belongs, and the image of the east king is on the left side of the building or image to which it belongs. The pattern of the western royal mother image in the above Han stone portrait is left, east, right, west, up, south, north, north. This is consistent with the orientation structure of the Han stone. However, the horizontal and vertical directions are completely opposite to those of scientific cartography. The azimuth structure of the image of the western mother of the Han Dynasty is 1.4, and the central one is the reference object of the four directions of the east, west, north and south. The four directions of the East and the West are opposite each other and have obvious symbolic meanings. It is certain that there is a fundamental difference between the azimuth structure of the stone statue of the Han Dynasty and the azimuth structure of the western mother of modern cartography. The structure of the former is intrinsically related to the ancient Chinese cultural mechanism.
