元代宫廷缂丝唐卡巨制——大都会艺术博物馆藏缂丝大威德金刚曼陀罗

【摘要】:美国纽约大都会艺术博物馆藏元代缂丝大威德金刚曼陀罗是元代宫廷艺术和藏传佛教艺术的巨迹,本文结合前人成果,较为全面地介绍了这件缂丝曼陀罗的材质、内容、图像学阐释、供养人情况、纪年推定,以及它所反映的元代宫廷"织御容"和缂丝织造工艺。本文结合史料与逻辑分析进一步认定帝后供养像制作于元文宗第二次登基之后、元明宗皇后八不沙去世之前(1330-1332);当时的监制官员明里董阿不但是拥立元文宗的重臣,而且是谋杀元明宗的帮凶,题记中称元明宗为"皇子",暴露了元文宗君臣的虚弱内心;"织御容"的起源则与蒙古人萨满教以纺织品制作祖先像的传统有关。在织造工艺上,这件曼陀罗兼有来自西北与江南的特色,本文认为它更可能分块织造于杭州,然后运至大都缝合,但是织造匠人却主要来自西夏或回鹘。
[Abstract]:The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, USA, has collected Kesi Keshi and Diamond Mandala in the Yuan Dynasty, which is a masterpiece of court art and Tibetan Buddhist art in Yuan Dynasty. This paper, in combination with previous achievements, introduces the materials and contents of this tapestry mandola in a more comprehensive way. Pictorial interpretation, provider's condition, chronological presumption, and its reflection of the imperial court's "royal appearance" and Kraft weaving technology in the Yuan Dynasty. Based on historical data and logical analysis, this paper further concludes that the emperor's statue was made before the second reign of Yuan Wenzong (1330-1332) before the death of the Queen of Yuan Dynasty (1330-1332); at that time, the producer official, Ming-li Dong, was not only an important official who supported the establishment of Yuan Wenzong. He was an accomplice to the murder of Yuanmingzong, the inscription called Yuanmingzong "the Emperor", which exposed the weak heart of the monarch of Yuan Wenzong, and the origin of "Weaving Royal appearance" was related to the tradition of Mongolian shamanism in making ancestral images of textiles. In the weaving process, this mandola has the characteristics from the northwest and the south of the Yangtze River. This paper thinks that it is more likely to weave in Hangzhou, and then be transported to most of the stitches, but the weavers are mainly from the Xixia or Uighur.
