In 1681, (Jean Mabillon, a French scholar known as "the father of historical textual research" Or translated "Ma Biang") has written "Ancient Literature" translated by some scholars of (De re diplomatica, such as Mi Chenfeng "the Development of Ma Bi-rong and Western Ancient Literature", "History Studies" No. 5, 2004), A series of methods and principles for systematical examination of ancient documents were put forward, which promoted the establishment of ancient calligraphy, and laid a solid foundation for the development of modern positivism historiography.
