【摘要】："先博而后约","先中而后西","先普通而后专门",是毛泽东一生遵循的读书之法。"先博而后约",就是先博览群书,广泛地去读,在此基础上,再去读比较重要的、比较关键的、比较喜爱的书;"先中而后西",就是先下功夫读中国的书,在熟悉、了解本国历史、文化知识的基础上,再去读西方国家的书,学习研究西方国家的政治、经济、历史和文化等,为我所用;"先普通而后专门",就是先读一般的、通俗易懂的、大众喜爱和需要的书,在这个基础上再去读专业的、专门学科的书。
