“双独”家庭与消逝的企业家精神——来自2014年流动人口动态监测数据的证据

【摘要】：家庭模式转变和流动人口创业难是当前中国面临的两个突出问题,家庭模式转变是否是引起流动人口创业选择的重要力量?本文通过2014年流动人口监测数据,考察家庭模式不同对创业决策的影响。研究发现,夫妻双方均为独生子女的家庭(下文简称为"双独家庭")的创业偏好显著低于其他家庭。其次,双独家庭创业精神的消逝,源于成长过程中应对困难能力的相对缺失。最后,本文发现双独家庭在自雇创业上显著低于其他家庭。经过考虑更多的控制变量、利用PSM方法处理内生性问题等一系列的稳健性检验后,本文的结果依旧稳健。研究基于大样本微观数据获得的经验发现,有助于更加全面地理解独生子女政策,为中国激发创业活力提供新的政策洞见。
[Abstract]:The transformation of family model and the difficulty of starting a business among the floating population are two outstanding problems facing China at present. Is the transformation of the family pattern an important force that causes the entrepreneurial choice of the floating population? Based on the data of floating population monitoring in 2014, this paper investigates the impact of different family patterns on entrepreneurial decision-making. The study found that families with only children (hereinafter referred to as "two-child families") had significantly lower entrepreneurial preferences than other families. Secondly, the disappearance of double-family entrepreneurship stems from the relative lack of coping ability in the process of growth. Finally, it is found that the self-employed family is significantly lower than other families in self-employment. After considering more control variables and using PSM method to deal with endogenetic problems, the results of this paper are still robust. Based on the experience obtained from large sample microdata, it is found that it is helpful to understand the one-child policy more comprehensively and to provide a new policy insight for China to stimulate entrepreneurial vitality.
