Interdisciplinary professional organization specializing in research on ageing, gerontology education and scientific practice. There are now more than 5400 members. The annual meeting of the American Academy of Gerontology attracts more than 3500 leading gerontology experts and scholars each year. The conference is a very important gathering of gerontology and geriatrics experts from all over the world. They can participate in more than 500 different forms, including seminars, paper readings, and scientific research wall presentations.
