【摘要】：正从清末开始,上海商务印书馆不定期编印出版《上海指南》,《指南》大多数附有《城厢租界地名表》。当时上海的城市面积不大,道路地名的数量有限,而上海的每一条弄堂有自己的弄堂名称,也是上海地名的重要形式,于是,《指南》也把弄堂名称作为地名收录其中,如今则成为宝贵的资料。清宣统二年(1910)增订的第六版《上海指南·城厢租界地名表》
