[Abstract]:The island is located in the sea between Zhangzhou and Xiamen in Jiulong River Estuary, Fujian Province, 2.4 kilometers south of Longhai Haimen Island in Zhangzhou City. To the north, 1.5 kilometers from Haicang Houjing Village, Xiamen City. Jieyu Island was historically the site of the Anbian Pavilion in Gu Yue Port, Zhangzhou, an important node of the maritime Silk Road.
