前古典时期西方游记中的地理思想呈现——对马可波罗、哥伦布和达尔文游记的考察

【摘要】：游记作为一种特殊的文学形式,因其承载的时间和空间意义而兼具历史和地理的双重价值。通过对《马可波罗行纪》、《乘小猎犬号环球航行》和《哥伦布首航美洲——历史文献与现代研究》3本论著的定性式内容分析,比较了公元12、14、18世纪3个不同历史时期西方地理思想在空间认知、经济地理和政治地理三方面的差别和特点,并尝试探究公元1275 1836年间近600年西方地理思想的演变过程。研究发现三个方面的主要内容,即空间认知上对已知世界的地理扩展,经济地理上从自由贸易到重商主义的转变,以及政治地理上欧洲中心主义的逐渐兴起。论文为从游记进行地理思想探索做了有意义的尝试。
[Abstract]:As a special literary form, travel notes have dual values of history and geography because of their time and space significance. Based on the qualitative analysis of the three books, "the Age of Marco Polo", "the Voyage of the Beagle around the World" and "Columbus's first voyage to the Americas-Historical documents and Modern Studies", This paper compares the differences and characteristics of western geographical thoughts in three historical periods, namely spatial cognition, economic geography and political geography, and attempts to explore the evolution of western geographical thought in the past 600 years from 1275 to 1836. The main contents of the study are the geographical expansion of the known world in spatial cognition, the transition from free trade to mercantilism in economic geography, and the gradual rise of Eurocentrism in political geography. The paper makes a meaningful attempt to explore geographical thoughts from travel notes.
