1886年英国探险家对长白山主峰的考察

【摘要】：1886年7月,由英国地理探险家詹姆斯(H.E.M.James)和扬哈斯本(Younghusband,Sir Francis Edward)等人组成的考察队对中国长白山主峰白头山天池地区进行了科学考察,扬哈斯本成为登上长白山最高峰的第一位西方人,首次用近代科学方法测定了长白山主峰的高度,从而更正了此前西方文献中对长白山的诸多错误记载。
[Abstract]:In July 1886, a team of British geographical explorers H.E.M.James and Younghusband,Sir Francis Edward) made a scientific investigation of the Tianchi area, the main peak of Changbai Mountain in China. Yang Haskaben became the first westerner to climb the highest peak of Changbai Mountain. He first measured the height of the main peak of Changbai Mountain by modern scientific method, thus correcting many wrong records of Changbai Mountain in the previous western literature.
