【摘要】：正《元和郡县志·卷第三十》:"渭阳县,垂拱三年(687)析麻阳县置,在坡山西址。山甚高险,百姓食坡溪水。"治驻今凤凰县落潮井乡黄丝桥,辖境相当于今湖南省凤凰县大部分,属锦州。五代后废,因辖地及县治与今凤凰县密切相关,故应视为凤凰建县之始。清乾隆《凤凰厅志》:"地本唐渭阳县治,历宋、元、明或废或置,命名不一"。也持此看法。渭阳,得名当与渭溪,密切相关。渭,《说文》:"渭,水。出陇西首阳渭首亭南谷,东入河。"有关地志明载:渭水,源出甘肃
