[Abstract]:The six-body cartography refers to the six principles or standards that should be observed in cartography, but there are different interpretations of the six-body, especially the understanding of the latter three. The six-body cartography is a summary of the past cartographic experience and the six related factors which should be considered in cartography are more original. Among them, the division rate is scale, the quasi-lookout is the coordinate system, the Daoli interpretation is the method of converting the actual distance to the map, and the high and low, the Fang evil and the straight point are the terrain, the geomorphological characteristic, respectively, is the terrain high and low undulation, the slope degree and the road bend, Straightness. The difference of the six-body records in the later literature originates from the compilation of Jin Shu and the collection of artistic writings in the Tang Dynasty. From the analysis of the classics, history, subsets and collections of the six bodies of cartography contained in the book Siku, Qianlong did not have a unified understanding of the nature of the six bodies of cartography before. The difference in the use of maps is the cause of the differences between ancient Chinese and Western cartographic theories.
