《荀氏家传》的史学价值探微

【摘要】：南朝刘宋时期史学家荀伯子撰《荀氏家传》十卷,已全部散佚,我们今天难窥其全貌,其学术价值也隐没不彰。但是,我们从《三国志》注、《世说新语》注、《文选》注以及唐宋类书中引录的《荀氏家传》佚文看,《荀氏家传》是唐修《晋书》的重要参考文献,其佚文可补正史人物记载的简略和缺失。因魏晋南北朝时期史家撰修的家传大多散佚无存,《荀氏家传》佚文为我们认识此期家传撰修的形式、内容和价值取向提供了一扇小小窗口。同时,《荀氏家传》也是我们认识颖川荀氏家族兴衰及其家学家风较直接的文献资料。概而言之,《荀氏家传》虽然散佚,其史学价值应该得到较充分的认识和关注。
[Abstract]:Xunbozi, a historian of the Southern Dynasty and Song Dynasty, wrote "Xunshi Family Biography" ten volumes, all of which have been lost. However, we can see from the notes of "the Records of the three Kingdoms", the Notes of "Shi Shuo Xin Yu", the Notes "selected works" and the "Xunshi Family Biography" cited in the books of Tang and Song dynasties, the "Xunshi Family Biography" is an important reference document for Tang Xiu "Jin Shu". His lost works can make up for the abridgement and deficiency of the historical figures. Because most of the family stories compiled by historians in Wei, Jin and Southern and Northern dynasties are lost, the lost works of Xunshi provide us with a small window to understand the form, content and value orientation of this period. At the same time, Xunshi Family Biography is also a direct document for us to know the rise and fall of Xunshi family in Yingchuan. Generally speaking, although Xunshi's family biography is lost, its historical value should be fully understood and paid attention to.
