Modern empiricism changes its foundation from object to subject, thus giving the correspondence theory a rich color of skepticism. Restricting the object of study to fact, modern philosophy of language expresses the correspondence theory in a pure level of logical analysis. Since language has been viewed as a special realm irrelevant to reality and absolutely talked about, the correspondence theory moves far away from its original empiricist position and tends to return to Immanual Kant's transcendental idealism.
