《新唐书》“本纪”研究

【摘要】： 唐朝作为我国封建社会的一代盛世,文化繁荣,经济发达,相关的史料十分丰富。“二十四史”中就并存了新、旧两部《唐书》,是我们研究唐代历史的基本材料。《新唐书》修成,即为“官方正史”,得到朝廷上下的普遍认可,而《旧唐书》的流传范围逐渐变小。同时两《唐书》优劣问题也成为许多学者讨论的一个焦点,并逐渐形成一个比较普遍的看法,认为《旧唐书》纪事详备,而失于芜杂;《新唐书》纪事简明,体例完善,但不免失于漏略。其中《新唐书》本纪部分使用《春秋》笔法,删削过甚,价值最低,尤为学界之通论。这种说法主要从史料价值角度立论,也与前人对本纪研究相对较少有关。本文概述宋人编纂《新唐书》之目的和经过,以及后人关于两《唐书》优劣的评论,并在前人研究基础上,着重考证《新纪》增删《旧纪》的情况,及其在干支系时方面的成就和不足,评价其重视书法问题的意义和缺陷。通过研究,可以看出《新纪》在详略适当、把握唐代历史进程和规律方面都大大超过《旧纪》;它在大量删削《旧纪》的同时,也增加了不少史料,特别是《则天纪》、《僖宗}\0》部分尤为明显,其干支系时纠正和补充了部分《旧纪》之误漏。从总体上说,《新纪》达到了宋人的编纂目的,在全书中并不比志表传逊色。它作为《新唐书》的重要部分,对宋以后史学的发展产生了一定的积极作用。所谓“本纪最下”的评价,未见公允。这一新结论是本文的一个重要突破。
[Abstract]:The Tang Dynasty, as the prosperous era of feudal society in China, had a prosperous culture and developed economy. The two old books of the Tang Dynasty are the basic materials for us to study the history of the Tang Dynasty. The revision of the Book of the New Tang Dynasty, that is, the official official History, was generally recognized by the court. The spread of the Old Book of Tang became smaller. At the same time, the merits and demerits of the two "Tang Shu" also became a focus of discussion by many scholars, and gradually formed a more general view that the chronicle of the "Old Tang Book" was prepared in detail, but lost in the confusion; the "New Tang Book" Chronicle was concise and perfect in style. But I can't help but miss out. Among them, this part of the book of New Tang Dynasty uses the method of "Spring and Autumn period", which is the lowest value, especially the general theory of academic circles. This theory is mainly based on historical data value, but also related to the relative lack of previous research on this period. This paper summarizes the purpose and process of the compilation of the book of the New Tang Dynasty by the Song Dynasty, as well as the comments on the merits and demerits of the two books of the Tang Dynasty by later generations, and on the basis of the previous studies, it emphasizes the textual research on the addition and deletion of the book of the old one. And its achievements and shortcomings in the branch system, evaluate the significance and shortcomings of its attention to calligraphy. Through the study, we can see that the "New period" has greatly exceeded the "Old period" in terms of understanding the historical process and law of the Tang Dynasty, and it has also added a lot of historical materials while deleting the "Old period" in a large number. In particular, the part of < Xizong} > is especially obvious, and its trunk and branch system corrects and supplements some of the errors and leaks of the old period. On the whole, the New period has achieved the purpose of compiling the Song Dynasty and is not inferior to the Biography in the book. As an important part of New Tang Shu, it played a positive role in the development of historiography after Song Dynasty. The assessment of the so-called "the lowest of this discipline" has not been fair. This new conclusion is an important breakthrough in this paper.
