附魅、祛魅和返魅:昙阳子传记形象的历史演变——从王世贞《昙阳大师传》说去

【摘要】:昙阳子形象建构是一场文化权利的争夺。王世贞、王锡爵以昙阳子种种灵异事件为契机,意图通过昙阳子信仰体系的建构以维系他们日益下降的世俗地位,为此展开了对昙阳子的一系列"附魅"活动。二王氏的政敌张居正、徐学谟等力图破坏他们对这一新信仰体系的建构,以消除二王氏的社会影响,为此对昙阳子进行了一系列"祛魅"举措。在昙阳子两种形象的建构过程中,激烈的文化权利之争随着世俗权利的强行介入而暂时消歇,然而附着在昙阳子形象上的文化意义却在历史空间中不断流动,"附魅"与"祛魅"彼此纠缠在一起,同时因权利场域之外的第三者或属于另外场域的民间出于探求本相之目的而赋予昙阳子"返魅"意义,从而使昙阳子形象的建构愈显复杂。
[Abstract]:The image construction of Tanyang son is a struggle for cultural rights. Wang Shizhen, Wang Xijue, taking various spiritual events of Tanyang son as a turning point, intends to maintain their declining secular status through the construction of the belief system of Tan Yang Zi, thus launching a series of "enchantment" activities to Tan Yang Zi. Zhang Juzheng and Xu Xuemu, his political opponents, tried to destroy their construction of this new belief system to eliminate the social influence of the second Wang's, and thus carried out a series of "disenchantment" measures to Tan Yang Zi. In the process of constructing Tanyangzi's two images, the fierce debate of cultural rights was temporarily eliminated with the forced intervention of secular rights. However, the cultural significance attached to the image of Tanyang son is constantly flowing in the historical space, and "enchantment" and "disenchantment" are entangled with each other. At the same time, the third party outside the field of right or the folk belonging to another field endow the meaning of "reenchantment" with the meaning of "reenchantment" for the purpose of seeking the truth, thus making the construction of the image of Tan Yang son more complicated.
