明初茶马贸易衰败原因的再辨析

【摘要】：在以往的论述中,明初官营茶马贸易衰败的主要原因是私茶贩运的猖獗,但实际情况是,私茶贩运虽然存在于明初官营茶马贸易的全过程,但此时期私茶贩运在政府的严厉打击下,尚不足以破坏官营的茶马贸易,而真正导致洪武、永乐时期官营茶马贸易衰败的主要原因是宣德以后府茶叶运输能力的不足。政府无力将所需的茶叶输运到边地各茶马司,不得不睁一眼闭一眼地默许私茶泛滥,所以宣德以后私茶泛滥是政府无力输运茶叶导致的。政府行为是因,私茶泛滥是果。弘治以降新式茶马贸易首先解决的正是茶叶的运输问题,这恰恰说明了问题之所在不是私茶泛滥。

The main reason for the decline of tea and horse trade in Yongle period is the lack of tea transportation capacity in Xuande. The government was unable to transport the required tea to the tea and horses along the border, so it had to turn a blind eye to the proliferation of private tea, so the proliferation of private tea in Xuande in the future was caused by the government's inability to transport tea. The government acts because private tea is a fruit. Hongzhi first solved the problem of tea transportation by reducing the new tea and horse trade, which shows that the problem is not the proliferation of private tea.
