京汉铁路与民国时期许昌地区社会经济发展研究

【摘要】:铁路是近代西方科技进步的产物,以它为代表的现代交通运输方式引起了交通运输业的巨大革命,使人类的社会生产方式、生活方式产生了巨大的变化。同时,铁路也是人类社会经济发展到一定阶段的必然产物,它的建设促进了社会经济的进一步发展。纵观近代世界经济发展史,我们可以发现铁路运输在各国经济发展中扮演着非常重要的角色,是各个国家和地区经济发展的重要条件。研究近代某个地区社会经济的发展,可以发现它在很大程度上与铁路的修建是密不可分的。所以说铁路一出现就对沿线地区产生了巨大的影响,它推动了铁路沿线地区社会经济的发展。许昌地区位于中原腹地,是南北地区进行经济和文化交流的枢纽,地理环境优越。纵观数千年的许昌发展史,既遭受过不堪回首的灾难,又取得过值得自豪的辉煌成就。但是由于清朝末年的战乱和天灾人祸,使许昌变得和中国其它地方一样满目疮痍,民生凋敝。1906年京汉铁路的建成通车,极大地促进了许昌地区的工业、商业、矿业和以烟草为代表的农业的发展,推动了许昌地区的现代化进程。本文选取京汉铁路与民国时期许昌地区社会经济的发展为考察对象,试图就近代铁路对沿线地区社会经济发展的影响进行个案研究,希望能够通过对单条铁路的考察,了解铁路自身发展的区域性以及由此对沿线地区社会经济发展产生的连锁反应,对京汉铁路在河南经济近代化过程中的重要角色给予一个合理的定位。笔者试图以这两者为切入点,在对现有资料合理利用的基础上,对京汉铁路与沿线地区特别是许昌地区社会经济发展作出一番细致的论述,以期为拓展和深化中国铁路史和河南经济史的研究献出绵薄之力。这对于我国其他铁路沿线地区社会经济的发展,特别是我国大陆内部铁路沿线地区社会经济的发展起一定的借鉴意义,对于推动我国“中部崛起战略”的进程,具有一定的现实意义。本文主要分为以下五个部分:第一部分:回顾许昌地区的自然地理环境和古代历史沿革及清末民初许昌地区的社会经济发展状况,对许昌地区社会经济发展的背景作简要的描述,为全文的展开奠定基础。第二部分:介绍近代铁路的出现,西方列强在中国修筑铁路的最初设想以及近代铁路在中国的艰难发展过程,最后简要介绍京汉铁路的建成通车情况。第三部分:主要介绍京汉铁路建成以前河南省尤其是许昌地区传统的交通运输情况,以及铁路开通以后对河南省传统商路的影响。第四部分:介绍京汉铁路开通以后对许昌地区经济发展的影响,主要包括近代许昌地区商业的发展、工业的发展以及矿业的发展。通过这些发展情况来说明京汉铁路对许昌地区经济发展的贡献。第五部分:介绍京汉铁路通车前后,许昌城市格局以及文化习俗的变化情况。
[Abstract]:Railway is the product of modern western scientific and technological progress. The modern transportation mode, represented by it, has caused a great revolution in the transportation industry, and has made great changes in the social production mode and the way of life of human beings. At the same time. Railway is also the inevitable outcome of the development of human society and economy to a certain stage, its construction promoted the further development of social economy. We can find that railway transportation plays a very important role in the economic development of various countries and regions, and is an important condition for the economic development of each country and region. It can be found that it is closely related to the construction of railway to a great extent. Xuchang is located in the hinterland of the Central Plains and is the hub of economic and cultural exchanges between the north and the south. Both suffered from unthinkable disasters, but also made proud of brilliant achievements. But due to the war and natural and man-made disasters in the late Qing Dynasty, Xuchang became as devastated as the rest of China. In 1906, the completion and opening of the Beijing-Han Railway greatly promoted the development of industry, commerce, mining and agriculture represented by tobacco in Xuchang. This paper selects the Beijing-Han Railway and the period of the Republic of China Xuchang region social and economic development as the object of investigation. This paper attempts to carry out a case study on the impact of modern railway on the social and economic development of the areas along the railway line, hoping to pass the investigation of a single railway. Understand the regional development of the railway itself and the resulting socio-economic development of the region along the chain reaction. This paper gives a reasonable orientation to the important role of Beijing-Han Railway in the process of Henan economic modernization. The author tries to use these two as the breakthrough point and on the basis of reasonable utilization of the existing data. This paper makes a detailed discussion on the social and economic development of the Beijing-Han railway and the areas along it, especially the Xuchang area. In order to expand and deepen the history of China's railway and Henan economic history to contribute a modest contribution to the development of social and economic development in other areas along the railway in China. In particular, the development of social economy along the railway in mainland China plays a certain reference significance, which will promote the process of "Central China rising up Strategy". This paper is divided into the following five parts: the first part: review the natural geographical environment of Xuchang area and the history of ancient history and the social and economic development of Xuchang area in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. The background of social and economic development in Xuchang area is briefly described to lay the foundation for the development of the full text. Part two: introduce the emergence of modern railway. The initial assumption of the Western powers to build railways in China and the difficult development of modern railways in China. Finally, the paper briefly introduces the completion and opening of Beijing-Han Railway. The third part mainly introduces the traditional transportation situation in Henan Province, especially in Xuchang area before the completion of Beijing-Han Railway. Part 4th introduces the influence of Beijing-Han Railway on the economic development of Xuchang area, including the commercial development of Xuchang area in modern times. The development of industry and mining industry. Through these developments to explain the contribution of Beijing-Han Railway to the economic development of Xuchang area. Part 5th: introduction of Beijing-Han Railway before and after the opening of traffic. Xuchang urban pattern and cultural customs changes.
