论后科举之初学堂实官奖

【摘要】：清末废科举之后的数年间,施行学堂实官奖,学界只是在论及出身问题时有所触及,缺乏专题研究。学生实官奖方面,有陆军军官学堂、北洋高等巡警学堂等专业学堂,也有大学堂,以及留学生。教员、管理人员方面,除了奖励实官外,清末还尝试定章立制,将学堂教员认同为实官。捐资助学方面,为了吸纳社会资金,弥补不足,清政府推行实官奖,并主要针对捐巨资者,且多由地方督抚出面申请;奖实官之外,对降职官员捐输学务者也予以开复原官,即捐复;当然,相较于实官奖,学务捐输更多的是虚衔奖。在清政府实施学堂实官奖的过程中,不断有罢废实官奖的声音,宣统三年七月学堂实官奖寿终正寝。
