客商“在地化”的概念、进程与其意义——以近代兰州客商为中心

【摘要】：在客商经济的发展过程中,许多客商经历了从行商到坐贾,从客贩、侨寓到定居的双重转变。对于这种转变,学界形成了"侨居"、"土著化"、"本土化"等不同观点。文章在厘清相关概念的基础上,提出客商的这一转变应视为一个循序渐进、不断发生的"在地化"过程。在进入→适应→融合的发展轨迹中,近代兰州客商的在地化过程突破了传统中国浓厚的乡土意识,诱使客商在客籍兰州安家置业,寻求长期发展。在地化客商作为商人群体中的一个特殊组成部分,克服了一般客商的局限性,促进了市场整合和土客互融,也推进了近代兰州区域市场的发育和发展。
[Abstract]:In the course of the development of the economy, many merchants experienced a double transformation from merchants to merchants, from merchants, overseas Chinese to settled. For this change, scholars have formed different views such as "overseas Chinese", "aboriginal", "localization" and so on. On the basis of clarifying related concepts, this paper puts forward that this transformation of merchants should be regarded as a gradual and continuous process of "localization". In the course of integration, the localizing process of modern Lanzhou merchants broke through the strong local consciousness of traditional China, and induced them to settle in Lanzhou for a long period of development. As a special part of the merchants group, the local and chemical merchants overcome the limitations of the general merchants, promote the integration of the market and the mutual integration of the natives, and promote the development and development of the regional market in Lanzhou in modern times.
