“解放”身体:1950年绥远省梅毒防治的历史考察

【摘要】：本文以1950年绥远省梅毒防治为例,考察了绥远地区以宗教为依持的传统医学与以国家为依持的现代医学之间的冲突。这一冲突集中体现在对待身体的观念上:传统医学认为罹患疾病虽然使身体遭受了痛苦,但可成为来世修行的一种方式;而现代医学则更关注生理健康。新政权在1950年的梅毒防治过程中只将绥远地区人们生理的健康视作防治任务成功的标准,而忽视了身体对于当地人的复杂意义,忽略了现代医学理念与宗教医学观念之间存在着极大的差异性。这种差异性在国家"阶级解放"的意识形态和扭转人口下降趋势的主观意愿的双重推动之下,导致了国家与民众之间的微妙关系。原本为"团结""解放"的"善政"演变成一场波及内蒙古、华北、东北等广大地区的"割蛋"谣言风波。
[Abstract]:Taking the prevention and treatment of syphilis in Suiyuan province in 1950 as an example, this paper examines the conflict between traditional medicine based on religion and modern medicine based on state in Suiyuan province. This conflict is embodied in the concept of treating the body: traditional medicine believes that suffering from disease may become a form of afterlife practice, while modern medicine is more concerned with physical health. In its 1950 prevention and treatment of syphilis, the new regime regarded only the physical health of people in Suiyuan as the standard for success in the prevention and treatment mission, ignoring the complex significance of the body to the local people. The great differences between modern medical concepts and religious medical concepts have been neglected. This difference is driven by the ideology of "class liberation" and the subjective will to reverse the downward trend of population, which leads to the delicate relationship between the state and the people. "good governance", which was originally "unity" and "liberation", has become a rumour that has spread to the vast areas of Inner Mongolia, North China, Northeast China and so on.
