从顾肇新家书看戊戌前后的朝局与政情

【摘要】：清季总理衙门总办章京顾肇新在致其兄顾肇熙的一批书信中,对1897年中德胶州湾交涉、1898年春张之洞入枢受阻、翁同煝开缺原因、总署对康有为《第六书》的议覆、戊戌政变后光绪皇帝的处境和就医情况等重要问题,都有记述和评议;因为作者是历史事件的亲历者和参与者,臧否人物、评议时局,多是局内人言,与以往成说有所差异。分析这批函札对研究晚清政治史特别是戊戌前后的朝局和政情将有很大助益和启发。
