晚清基层社会治安管理组织中绅士角色的变动

【摘要】：至清末,传统地方治安机构已有名无实。清政府借鉴西方基层治安治理模式,举办警政,开始了中国从传统的治安模式向近代警察制度的转变。在基层社会治安管理组织的演变过程中,绅士发挥了重要作用,从保甲制度的幕后操纵,到团练组织中走向前台,最终在警政制度中合法化,成为基层社会的实际控制者,出现了所谓的绅权。伴随着绅士劣质化和绅士角色与作用的变化,绅士由官民中介和调节器变成了被革命的对象。
[Abstract]:By the end of the Qing Dynasty, the traditional local security institutions had become nominal. The Qing government began the transformation from the traditional public security model to the modern police system. In the evolution of the grass-roots social security management organizations, the gentleman played an important role, from the behind-the-scenes manipulation of the Baojia system to the organization of regiment training to the foreground, and finally legalized the police system and became the actual controller of the grass-roots society. The so-called gentry came into being. With the deterioration of the gentleman and the change of the role and function of the gentleman, the gentleman became the object of revolution.
