【摘要】：长征是在第五次反“围剿”失败之后,根据地面临巨大的军事政治危机前提下被迫进行的战略大转移,长征途中开展扩红运动则是在国民党军队围追阻截,沿途恶劣的自然环境导致巨大人员消耗前提下开展的,沿途扩红不断为红军军队补充了新鲜血液,保存了战斗力,为长征的胜利提供了坚实的基础。为了最大范围地扩大红军规模,党和红军在扩红对象和形式上狠下功夫。长征沿路扩红对象十分广泛,主要以工农贫苦大众为主,除此还有少数民族、战俘以及地方武装的赤少队和模范营,其宣传形式也是丰富多彩,有口头宣传、文艺宣传还有文字宣传三种常用形式,同时还深入群众,通过言传身教,为群众解决生活困难,为群众办实事赢得群众支持和拥护,对于战俘,在思想上认真教育,在生活中关心照顾,尽可能让他们转变态度自愿加入红军,壮大军队力量。经过党和红军的不断努力,长征途中的扩红取得相当大的成绩,首先,扩红运动使红军顺利实现战略大转移,使党和红军转危为安,为接下来的抗日救国做好准备,其次,在沿途宣传扩红政策的同时,党和红军很好的宣传了党的民族政策和宗教政策,加强了民族团结,促进了各族人民的友好,这对当今处理民族关系也提供了宝贵的经验。最后,只扩大不巩固的扩红是失败的,因此党和红军采取一系列巩固政策：如巩固新战士,优待红军家属,归队运动等各项措施夯实扩红成果,在巩固的基础上继续扩大红军,真正意义上提高军队战斗力,壮大了军队力量。
