清末新政时期教育小说研究

【摘要】: 清末新政时期,文学界掀起一场轰轰烈烈的小说界革命。“教育小说”作为众多小说类别中的一种也伴随着清政府的教育改革应运而生。但是,“教育小说”由于艺术价值普遍不高,能够传世的作品并不多见,因而一直以来被文学领域的研究者们忽略甚至否定。然而,从教育史角度审视,清末新政时期的“教育小说”却有着它独特的历史价值。从废除科举到颁布新学制,新政时期的教育改革是中国近代教育的一个里程碑。这一时期的教育小说,无论是翻译自国外的教育小说,还是中国文人们自己创作的反映当时教育改革状况的作品,都能为教育史研究提供一些生动直观的教育活动画面和教育主体的认知状态,这有利于还原历史上的教育真相,并提供一些佐证。本研究认为新政时期的教育小说是在西方教育小说传入中国后,中国文人对其进行本土化加工直至再创造的产物,它对新文化运动时期的教育问题小说产生了一定的影响。本研究重新界定了教育小说概念,对新政时期的教育小说进行了系统的分类和梳理。以此为基础,运用文本分析,从小人物的视角出发去研究教育小说中所反映的新政时期教育改革状况。并力求解决新政时期教育小说研究中的两个难题:其一是怎样从这一时期散落在各个报刊杂志上的零散小说中筛选出符合教育史研究需要的教育小说;其二就是如何合理的运用文学作品作为历史研究的基本史料。以为教育史研究提供一种新视角。本研究分为四个部分:第一部分关于研究新政时期教育小说的基本前提;第二部分关于新政时期“教育小说”研究的理论探索;第三部分关于新政时期创作类教育小说的文本分析;第四部分关于新政时期创作类教育小说的历史影响。
[Abstract]:During the New deal period in the late Qing Dynasty, the literary world set off a great revolution in the field of fiction. Educational novel, as one of many novel types, came into being with the educational reform of Qing government. However, because of the low artistic value and few works that can be passed on to the world, Educational Fiction has always been ignored or even denied by researchers in literature field. However, from the perspective of educational history, the educational novel of the late Qing Dynasty has its unique historical value. From the abolition of the imperial examination to the promulgation of the new school system, the educational reform during the New deal period was a milestone in China's modern education. The educational novels of this period, whether they are educational novels translated from abroad or works created by Chinese literati themselves, reflect the current situation of educational reform at that time. It can provide some vivid and intuitionistic picture of educational activity and cognitive state of educational subject for the study of educational history, which is helpful to restore the educational truth in history and provide some evidences. This study holds that the educational novels of the New deal period were the product of the localization and re-creation of the western educational novels after they were introduced into China, which had a certain influence on the educational problem novels of the New Cultural Movement period. This study redefines the concept of educational novels and systematically classifies and combs educational novels in the New deal period. On the basis of this, this paper studies the educational reform in the New deal period from the perspective of the little man by means of text analysis. It also tries to solve two difficult problems in the study of educational novels during the New deal period: first, how to screen out educational novels which meet the needs of educational history research from scattered novels scattered in various newspapers and magazines in this period; The second is how to use literary works as the basic historical materials of historical research. To provide a new perspective for the study of the history of education. This research is divided into four parts: the first part is about the basic premise of the study of educational novels in the New deal period, the second part is about the theoretical exploration of the "educational novels" in the New deal period. The third part is about the text analysis of the educational novels created during the New deal period, and the fourth part is about the historical influence of the educational novels created during the New deal period.
